Nursing care (home-visit / day-service / residential care)

Protect service-user data while supporting
remote and multi-location operations.

Care records and billing (KOKUHO) — the data you handle is sensitive personal information belonging to service users. As home-based work and multi-location operations grow, a design that connects "only the right people to only the right systems" becomes essential.

Common challenges

"We want convenience, but we cannot risk a leak."

No safe way to connect to care records and billing systems from home or client sites.

Using a shared login, so there is no record of who accessed which records.

Temporary workers, contractors, and former employees tend to retain access after leaving.

Need to use the same in-house systems across multiple locations safely.

With ForceLink

Scope access to service-user information
by role.

You define "who connects to which system." Even after the tunnel is up, the full internal LAN is not opened — only the permitted destinations are reachable (feature: internal resource and route control).

  • Permit each user only the destinations they need — care records system, billing system, etc.
  • The admin console is not permanently exposed to the internet
  • Key-based connections. With the standard Windows app, private keys are generated and stored on the device only
  • Revoke access immediately when a temporary worker, contractor, or employee leaves

Data location

Operated in a domestic data center.

The cloud relay runs in a domestic (Japan) data center — not overseas — making it straightforward to know where data resides. The service is operated by Forcenet Co., Ltd., a Japanese company.

Managing sensitive personal data

Being able to explain
"who can see what."

Care and welfare records contain sensitive personal data whose collection and use is restricted without the subject's consent. Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information requires safety-management measures and appropriate supervision of employees and contractors. ForceLink supports those obligations through per-user access control and immediate revocation when someone leaves.

* Whether a deployment meets applicable laws and guidelines is determined by the overall operational practices of each organization; this service alone does not constitute compliance. Please contact us to discuss specific requirements.

  • Want to scope what each role or location can access
  • No dedicated IT staff — want to delegate the complex setup
  • Want to know the total cost before starting

May not be the right fit

  • MFA is a hard requirement (currently not available)
  • Primary devices are Mac or smartphones
  • Already running a large-scale zero-trust infrastructure

Frequently asked questions

Common questions from nursing care providers.

Can an organization with no dedicated IT staff deploy ForceLink?

Yes. Forcenet handles the complex parts — cloud setup and initial ForceLink BOX configuration. Your organization places the ForceLink BOX, then distributes invitation codes to users.

Is it acceptable to handle sensitive personal data from home or across multiple locations?

Internal resource and route control lets you scope each user's connection to only the care records and billing systems they need. The full internal LAN is not opened, the admin console is not permanently exposed to the internet, and the cloud relay runs in a domestic (Japan) data center. We do not promise absolute security.

Can access be revoked for temporary staff, contractors, and former employees?

Accounts are issued per user. When a person leaves — whether a temporary worker, contractor, or employee — you can immediately revoke their access from the admin console.

Does ForceLink support multi-factor authentication (MFA) or Mac?

The standard client is a dedicated Windows app; connections are key-based. MFA is currently under consideration (not yet available). Mac and smartphone access is handled on a case-by-case basis. If MFA is a hard requirement, please consult us before starting.
